Paula is an experienced litigator who practises in McCann FitzGerald’s Data Investigations Group, which is a pioneering new model for the management of large projects across the full range of McCann FitzGerald’s business. Paula has extensive experience in e-discovery having advised clients on all facets of e-discovery and related legal issues in civil cases in the Irish High Court and Commercial Court, in criminal proceedings, and in the context of regulatory procedures.
Paula project manages the discovery process, from discovery/disclosure requests to production of the affidavit/schedule and documents, often within very short deadlines. As part of this, she leads large teams of legal review analysts, advises on privilege and commercial sensitivity and assists clients with the identification and collection of documents. Paula is expert in ECA and technology assisted review and she leads McCann FitzGerald’s e-discovery working group.
Paula and her colleagues manage a wide range of data review projects, including due diligence, loan sales and internal and regulatory investigations.
