Ken Grady is an Adjunct Professor and Research Fellow at Michigan State University College of Law. His research focuses on content analysis of tribunal materials and the application of lean thinking to legal services. He is on the advisory boards of the MDR Lab; LARI, Ltd.; and Elevate Services.
Ken speaks on innovation, the future of business and law, technology, and leadership. He is the principal author of the award-winning blog, The Algorithmic Society, on Medium.com where he has been recognized as a Top 50 writer on Innovation and Leadership. He also was the principal author of the award-winning blog, SeytLines.
Ken is a Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management, has been named to the Fastcase 50, and honored by the Financial Times for innovative leadership of in-house counsel/outside counsel relationships.
Ken’s articles are featured in many publications globally and his views are featured in The Wall Street Journal, Crain’s, The American Lawyer, Canadian Lawyer Magazine, Legal Futures, and other publications. Ken’s career includes CEO of SeyfarthLean Consulting, LLC; general counsel at Fortune 1000 corporations; executive positions in Fortune 500 and 1000 corporations; and partner in a multinational law firm. Ken was a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, and a member of its Board of Directors.
