For a second year running, Luminance has won big at the annual Techies Awards. The pioneering machine learning company last night won two awards for ‘Best Use of AI’ and ‘AI Innovator of the Year’ – bringing their total number of Techies to five. Now in its fourth year, the Techies awards recognises and celebrates success in the UK tech sector, rewarding the best and brightest technology from across disciplines.

These accolades reinforce the work Luminance has achieved in allowing lawyers to focus on their clients’ needs and deliver the most valuable advice possible. We now have over 150 customers across 40 countries worldwide and 15 of The Global 100 law firms and are looking forward to seeing how our powerful core technology enables us to expand further,” commented Emily Foges, CEO of Luminance.
The win marks the latest in a string of 2019 achievements for Luminance, who now hold over 20 awards. Launched in 2016 out of research from the University of Cambridge, in the past month the company has been awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise and two American Business Awards for Innovation.
