Grant Thornton Australia Selects Phoenix Business Solutions as Strategic Technology Implementation Partner

Phoenix is pleased to welcome Grant Thornton Australia Limited (GTAL) as its newest client.

Grant Thornton Australia has selected Phoenix Business Solutions as a strategic technology implementation partner. Phoenix will facilitate the design and delivery of a cohesive integrated data platform based on iManage Work 10, connected into business-critical systems, to make one seamlessly accessible solution that allows ready access to client information. Grant Thornton Australia is a member firm of Grant Thornton, one of the world’s leading organisations of independent assurance, tax and advisory firms, with access to a network of over 35,000 people across more than 100 member firms worldwide.

Aligned to GTAL’s business processes, the solution that Phoenix deploys will integrate iManage Cloud, the industry-leading document and email management system, with a number of other core enterprise-wide applications, including the firm’s CRM and Practice Management system. The easily scalable solution will also link cloud to cloud, to deliver an agile infrastructure that will help reshape GTAL’s IT landscape.

Andrew Pritchett, Chief Information Officer, GTAL said: “Grant Thornton people trust each other and want a platform that makes it easy to collaborate and share knowledge so they can rapidly deliver insights to our clients. Our project team looked at everything through the eyes of our people and our clients, and understood that to serve our clients well, we need the ability to be agile and work from anywhere. Phoenix and iManage were able to demonstrate a client-centred solution, integrated with our Salesforce platform, that brought it all together.”

The implementation of the solution is scheduled to go live in mid-2018. Once fully rolled out, the solution will be available to 1300 GTAL employees across Australia.

Luke Morey, Program Manager, GTAL commented on the process: “Phoenix has a strong reputation, and through all stages of the RFP process they lived up to it. We put this down to their experience in the professional services industry; instead of us having to explain everything over and over, they just got it, creating the atmosphere of trust that is essential for large scale IT projects. It felt like they were on our side.”

“Any technology investment must support business strategy,” said Chris Davis, Phoenix’s Regional Director for APAC. “GTAL recognised that they could truly put the customer at the heart of their business and we’re very pleased to be able to support them in achieving that objective through IT transformation.”
